Educational Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounts, finance, and audit.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS / IAS, tax regulations, and commercial laws.

Key Responsibilities

As the Govt CFO, your role will involve strategic decision-making and operational oversight. Key duties include:

1. Financial Safeguarding

  • Ensure the protection and proper management of all funds received by SWSSC.
  • Authorize and disburse payments for all company bills and expenses.

2. Leadership & Staff Management

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, supervision, and performance of finance staff.
  • Ensure staff compliance with SWSSC’s approved policies.

3. Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate accounting records in an organized manner.
  • Supervise the accounting system to ensure transparency.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and submit them to the CEO and relevant authorities.

4. Cash Flow & Budgeting

  • Implement safeguards for cash handling.
  • Prepare the annual operating budget in coordination with other departments.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure operational stability.

5. Compliance & Auditing

  • Arrange annual independent audits and implement recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with finance-related notifications from the Punjab Government’s Finance Department.

6. Investments & Banking

  • Manage investments according to SWSSC policies.
  • Maintain and operate bank accounts in line with official guidelines.

7. Strategic Planning

  • Assist the CEO in creating long-term financial strategies.
  • Provide financial insights for project planning and public service improvements.
