Job Overview

• Position: Expert Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Grade: L2
• Location: Islamabad

This role is mainly about supporting Jazz’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. The selected candidate will assist in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial operations. The position also requires working closely with other VEON operating companies (OpCos) and interacting with VEON headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

As an Expert FP&A, you will:

• Support weekly reporting activities.
• Assist the Group FP&A team with monthly flash reporting.
• Provide support during month-end closings, including preparation of performance decks for Jazz’s Executive Leadership Team.
• Help in quarter-end closings, including preparing quarterly reports, checking BI tool (V-Pulse) data, and assisting external auditors.
• Perform reasonability checks on submissions from OpCos and HQ.
• Ensure accuracy of financial consolidation, including FX calculation and constant currency checks.
• Maintain data records, including archiving previous FP&A data.
• Manage system tasks like opening/closing reporting systems, correcting data issues, and tracking Jira tickets.
• Assist in predictive analytics for assigned OpCos.
• Contribute to ad-hoc tasks, such as earnings releases, OpCo valuations, and process improvements.
• Help in redesigning dashboards to provide better decision-making support for management.

This role is highly detail-oriented and requires strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should have the following:

Education

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA (in-progress candidates can also apply).

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or FP&A.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Accounting Principles.
• Ability to work with complex financial models.

Technical Skills

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, dashboards, and macros.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics tools is a plus.

Soft Skills
