Job Purpose

The Accounts Officer will support the operations of the finance/accounts section at LUMS. This includes preparing financial reports, booking receipts, handling invoices, and assisting in audits. Key Responsibilities

As part of the finance team, the selected candidate will:

  • Prepare receivable and payable reports for the Rausing Executive Development Center (REDC).

  • Record receipts for internal customers, student societies, and provident fund repayments.
  • Reconcile NMF receivable/payable balances on a monthly basis.
  • Issue invoices to customers and record receipts in the ERP system.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts and financial statements.
  • Support the annual audit process.
  • Book receipts for sponsored grants and update grant-wise MIS.
  • Suggest process improvements and automation to strengthen financial operations.
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager or HOD.
