About the Job

The Territory Manager is a field-based role that plays a key part in driving Unilever’s growth. You will be responsible for sales, distributor management, visibility of products, and leading your sales team. You will report to the Geography Sales Manager and be a part of the Customer Development department.

This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 4 years of sales experience, especially in the FMCG industry. You should be ready to take on challenges, lead a team, and make data-driven decisions that improve business results.

Key Responsibilities

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving monthly and yearly sales targets within your assigned area
  • Managing distributors and their operations efficiently
  • Ensuring on-shelf availability and product visibility in key outlets
  • Leading and supporting Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) in the field
  • Developing and executing effective route plans for delivery and coverage
  • Supporting the company’s digital sales tools and transformation journey
  • Gathering market intelligence about competitors and consumer trends
  • Analyzing sales performance and making improvements based on data
  • Building long-term relationships with retailers and shop owners
  • Ensuring timely order collection, delivery, and payments

This job involves field visits, working closely with the market, and engaging directly with customers and retailers. Your ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results will define your success.

Requirements to Apply

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business or Sales preferred)

Experience:

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in a sales or distribution role
  • Prior experience in FMCG or retail sales will be a plus
